After browsing all of the SS13 shows on Style.com to see the trends that I was digging for the upcoming season, look 36 from the Alexander Wang show stood out the most. I was in love… But unfortunately, I knew I probably couldn’t justify a $3000+ outfit or $1400 shoes while saving for a wedding. And that I’m not balling lol.
Fast forward to Rihanna wearing look 36 to perform Stay on X Factor UK. She looked so amazing and pretty much solidified my need for the look. With my budget limitations being a major setback, I decided to recreate the look on the cheap. A few clicks later, I found the perfect dress on Missguided! It fits like a glove, looked amazing, is great quality and only $55!
To finish off my recreation, I wore my Jeffrey Campbell Lavish gladiator sandals I got from NastyGal a few weeks back. I absolutely love how this look turned out. My favorite color and my favorite SS13 look? Yass!! I feel dressed up in love. All over, all over.

I love this dress! I have a similiar body type and was wondering if you think a size 6 would be too loose? The pitfalls of online shopping is there is no dressing room.lol.
Since I saw Rihanna wearing this look and after seeing the AW collection I searched everywhere for similar models trying to recreate the look without success when I finally decided to purchase it in Saks, but just before I clicked on buy now, I did one more search and found it in fashionbomdaily and then your blog, Now I purchased the outfit in missguided and got the original alexander wang sandals.

Be sure to send your correct measurements to the makers because they are so detailed. My dress fits so well and I was reluctant to take it off after the fitting.
