Hello guys! I hope you all have been well. This is another one of the looks that I was able to shoot while I was in New York recently. I have to start out by saying that I was literally stopped and complemented ALL DAY when I wore this outfit. The fact that it was by mostly women shows me that I must have really looked amazing lol. I have to give all credit to this gorgeous, ruffled midi dress. Please note that I am 5’9, so if you are shorter, this dress could be ankle length on you. It will look great at that length as well!
My favorite thing about this button up dress is the back. It’s so gorgeous, and the length makes it great for lunch, brunch, dinner, or even for work. If you layered a light, turtleneck sweater under it, and/or a fitted blazer with a belt, this dress works nicely for Fall/work. I can’t wait to experiment with all the ways that I can rock this amazing dress. Now, back to the way I am wearing it here. I decided to pair it with these super chic bow pumps I’ve had for a bit. I linked plenty of similar options for you above at similar and lesser price points. You could also pair it with flat sandals in the Summer or plain pumps or fitted boots in the cooler seasons. After I picked the shoes, I grabbed a matching wallet on chain and finished the look off with this fun hat. I felt like I could be Shayla in Paris lol.
