All Chocolate Couple’s Fall/Winter Outfit

Hey guys! I know it’s been forever since I posted here. Me and the hubs got Covid just before Christmas and it had us down bad. I still can’t fully smell! I was able to take a few photos once I started to recover, but I ended up catching a cold right after and that took me out too. I am happy to say that I feel a lot better now and my energy is nearly back to my baseline, so I’m finally going to catch you guys up on all of the looks that I didn’t post.
First things first: it’s so rare that I get this man in front of the camera instead of behind it. I’m shy, but he’s even more shy. I got so lucky because I convinced him to let me (read: our son Dylan) shoot him/us several times over Dec/Jan. Win! So here is one of our couple’s outfits that you guys seemed to really love on my Instagram. My coat is wool and it goes so very well with these amazing leather boots. They remind me so much of a Paris Texas pair, and they’re about half the price, so I had to grab them. Luckily, they are still very much available, and, since we allegedly have about a month and a half left of cold weather, you’ll still be able to get some use out of them. Furthermore, they’re such a classic shape and color that they’ll be in style for years to come.
I paired my coat and boots with a simple, brown midid dress and a brown bag I’ve had for so long that it’s probably a teenager lol. I love that brown has been used so much lately. Before, it seemed that all of the options were so dull or old fashioned. now that chocolate is the IT color, there are so many good options that it’s a great neutral to lean in to if you’re tired of black or camel.
Next up, we have his look. He is actually wearing a cute little turtleneck I picked him up from amazon. That’s right. Amazon. The price is so good that I got him just about every color. he works out A LOT and sometimes trains for fun, so his bulk fluctuates a lot. That means that he’s always getting too big for certain sport coats, shirts, and even jeans (leg day), so I appreciate that I can find him great staples at a price that won’t sting too badly when he can’t fit it again lol.
