The Perfect Date Night Mini Dress

A lot of us are still stuck with not much to do, but that doesn’t mean we don’t still have occasions to dress up for. One of my favorite times to get dolled up is for a date night. Although my hubby isn’t home for a while, I am still dressing up for our FaceTime calls. This day, I went with this super fun Ankara print dress by Grass-Fields. I love the sleeve details. Their shop is a great choice if you’re looking for printed pieces in fun cuts.

The print has shades of orange and gold, so I threw on these fire sandals by Tamara Mellon in mustard. Although black sandals would’ve looked cute too, yellow was unexpected. Also, my husband surprised me with them on my birthday (after I said I didn’t want a gift) so I love any excuse to wear them. The color is so fun and cheery. 10/10 recommend for sure.

To finish off the look, I accessorized with fun, 14K gold plated or filled jewelry. The bangles and rings are definitely a fun way to elevate an outfit. I find myself wearing hoops daily, so they were an obvious choice for me with this outfit.

Finally, I grabbed one of my oldest bags (it’s probably 20 years old at this point). The black caviar and gold plated hardware are classic and go with almost any look.
