Coat: Missguided Similar HERE | Bag: Silver & Riley | Top: Missguided | Pants: Missguided | Belt: Old | Boots: Shoe Dazzle
I am so sorry it took me five years (exaggerating) to finally add this post to the blog. I have been busy traveling, hosting, child rearing and having the longest bronchitis ever. But not to worry. I’ve finally linked all the details in this outfit AND my coat (which you all seem to love on my instagram) is on sale often. In fact, today, it is 55% off making it $65 with code GOSLEIGH. And as a matter of fact, you can pretty much get most of my look on sale since much of it is from Missguided. You’re welcome! lol
So. Let’s get in to this coat. I’ve had it since last year, but it’s so good that I plan to keep it for a long time. The color is everything, and the collar makes it feel feminine and dressy. I’m assuming that it’s success is why they’ve continued to bring it back- and why they’ve added new colors like pink, purple, and black. This one is still my favorite, but the purple is very cute as well. I paired the cognac coat with purple and red, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite color combinations for Fall/Winter. This look is mostly purple, and I was able to pair this purple poplin with faux leather, wide leg pants in the same color. I’ve linked them for you above.
The other most important part of my look is my Silver & Riley bag. I am a huge fan of cross body, so I was very excited to receive this bag. It’s the perfect size to fit all of your essentials (phone, keys, cards, a mask) and it leaves your hands free. But. My favorite part is the leather! It’s so luxe and the quality is perfection. This is a Black woman owned business, so I feel like it’s extra special. I had a red belt that I’ve had forever (like since high school) that matched perfectly, so I added it and some cognac colored boots I got from Shoe dazzle last year, and this outfit was born. It got so much love online that I’m happy I was able to add it here for you guys on the day it’s on great sale. Enjoy!
Let me know what your favorite part of this look is below in the comments. I’ve got to say mine is the pop of red.
