Hey guys! I have been loving the peeks of Summer we have been getting in the south, and frankly, so have my feet lol. I was so excited when I finally got the chance to wear these fun, controversial, heels. As I explained in THIS VIDEO, it was a long, arduous process to finally find these in my size as they kept selling out. But, it was all worth it because they are literal art. I understand that they aren’t for everyone, but i love them and can’t wait to style them five hundred ways. First of all, I knew I needed them in green vs the beautiful turquoise color because this green is everything. Let’s get into the rest of the look shall we?
First up, we have this gorgeous knit set. I love that the top can be worn in a number of ways, Also, it can be worn under a blazer or a white button up as a sneaky pop of color. The options for styling are endless really. In this case though, I opted to wear it with the coordinating skirt. I really love the length of this skirt. It makes pairing it with the cropped top so much better. I am 5’9″, so it hits me right above where the heel stops. On a shorter or taller girl, it still hits at a great place and adds just enough coverage to let the upper abs shine. I can imagine myself pairing this combination with a white oversized button up, or a blazer. I can also see myself color blocking with this skirt all through SS and FW since its knit and long.
To finish off my monochromatic look, I added my current favorite bag. I really can’t get over its simplicity. The chain strap is what really sends it over the edge. I added some gold hoop earrings in the same finish as the bag strap, and I was ready to hit the streets in this all green look. As I said, each piece can work so well with other pieces, be they neutrals or other bright colors, so you really can’t go wrong with any of them. Let me know in the comments below if you’re digging this look as much as I am.Happy almost Spring!
