In an effort for me to cheer myself up (and hopefully you guys as well), I wore this fun, bright neon suit ensemble with pink lips and shoes. Bright colored clothing always makes me feel happy and this suit is the same color as the pollen covering my house lol. Although it is safe to head outside to parks and such, I wanted to keep it close so I shot right in front lol.

Things have been so crazy ever since the reality struck (for our leader) here that Covid-19 is not to be played with. While many of us are now homeschooling and/or working from home during this period of social distancing, I didn’t want to let myself get completely down and panicked. It may take several weeks or months for things to get back to normal, but one of the ways we can beat falling in to worry or sadness is by having a routine, keeping in touch with friends, and trying to dress up- even if there’s no place to go.

As trivial as it may seem, something as simple as curling your hair and putting on a fly outfit can really help perk you up. I definitely see myself wearing this blazer and these pants many ways in the coming months regardless of the “stay in” orders. And you know what? I felt so good dressing up it really made the day better.

I have asthma and recall how bad the pneumonia was last year. Part of me wonders if the same corona virus that caused that extreme pneumonia from last year is the same covid-19 we are watching spread now. Did it evolve?) In any case, I would really like to try my best to keep myself and family from contracting it.

Please remember to wash your hands, stay inside if possible, and to disinfect everything as much as you can (I know cleaning products are scarce right now). Please let me know how you are managing right now and what you’re doing to entertain yourself and feel normal if you’re staying home and social distancing. I hope you all are staying safe and managing this new normal as best you can.
