On Boys- Top: The Children’s Place | Shorts: The Children’s Place | Shoes: The Children’s Place
Hey everyone! I hope that you all had an amazing Sunday this past weekend. It was Easter AND two other religious holidays on the same day, so I know that many of you may have been celebrating Easter, Ramadan, or Passover. That said, it was one of those times where a family outfit was needed, and I think that we really pulled it off this year. although we wore this look for Easter, with some modifications, this look can work for family photos, religious meetings, Spring photos, or for an everyday look. I am so in love with this shade of coral, and am glad that I stepped outside of the typical pastels and did a more vivid shade.
For my look, I wore this dress that I got from FKSP. I love that it’s both sexy and modest. The long length and the bottoms on the skirt give you a few ways to make it stand out, and, if needed, you could decrease the opening at the neckline or wear a camisole underneath to reduce cleavage. In my case, I left it as is and paired it with my current favorite green sandals. Although they are not the exact shade of green in the stems of the florals on this dress, I feel like they were a fun and unexpected pop of color and whimsy that made the even more unique.
For the boys, I got their entire ensemble from The Children’s Place. I love that they are always having sales or offering coupons. Since my boys (and probably all kids) outgrow things so quickly, I always like to make sure I’m getting a great cost per wear. The most fun thing about their look is the unexpected color. I decided to not pair their shorts with a brown belt to let their look be a little more casual, but if I had, it would still feel appropriate considering the way their shoes could skew casual or semi formal. It’s that kind of versatility that I’m looking for when I’m buying pieces for the boys’ wardrobes.
Are you all loving our family look as much as we are? Let us know in the comments below!
